Welcome to the Bridge! Speedy Striker sends message to Lampard after signing with the Blues

The Blues have wrapped up a deal for Norwegian starlet Bryan Fiabema who becomes the club’s first January signing. Frank Lampard has well over £150 million to spend on new players that will come in and help improve the side in order to get back inside the top four, and then push on to possibly challenge the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City for that Premier League title.

He has been linked with some big-time players, there has been a lot of rumours and speculation about possible deals, but so far, Chelsea fans have been frustrated to see that no one has been signed.

That is until now, as reports have revealed that Lampard has made the decision to wrap up a deal for Norweigian talent Fiabema. He was given a trial by the Blues, which was successful and the quick and tricky forward is set to be part of the youth side.

Chelsea announced: ‘As confirmed by @arilasos, Bryan Fiabema has signed a three and a half year deal with Chelsea, and it’s now just a case of when the club chooses to announce it. The Norwegian forward will initially join up with the #CFCU18 squad.’

“First and foremost I will play for the Chelsea U18 team,” Fiabema told the Tromso website. “In addition, I’m going to train a part with the U23 team.

“I will however bring my experiences from TIL through having good routines in everyday life and exercising well. Must focus on what I can do about it and then I think I can do most things.”

Chelsea have a habit of signing some brilliant young talent, loaning them out and then cashing in in a few years time. But now that Lampard is in charge, maybe it will be time that the fans see some of these brilliant talents get a chance to shine in the coming seasons. Fiabema has impressed the Chelsea boss, but he now needs to get his head down and push on to become a real success in the game.
