12-goals in 15-games star has made decision about joining Chelsea in January
Victor Osimhen, a Nigerian striker and longtime CHELSEA target, has dispelled any rumors that he would leave in the January transfer window by stating that he plans to remain at Galatasaray at least until the end of the current campaign.
After finishing a season-long loan from Napoli to Galatasaray in September, the 25-year-old Nigerian striker has made an immediate impression in Turkey, tallying twelve goals in fifteen games.
There has been alot of transfer speculation in the media that the likes of Chelsea are still interested in getting a deal done for a new striker in the January window, despite their great start to the new season, and Osimhen is a player that the club are very much interested in signing.
However – The coach of the Turkish team, Okan Buruk, reaffirmed in a recent interview that both the player and the club are aligned in this objective: “He is happy here and wants to stay with us until the end of the season,” the coach stressed
Osimhen has been a key player in Galatasaray’s season, leading the Turkish league and his performance has been key for the team to remain as leader of the championship.
