£140 million worth of talent Tuchel could sign to replace Jorginho after agent drops Chelsea bombshell
According to the latest reports that Jorginho may be open to the idea of leaving Chelsea in the summer to sign with Napoli, Thomas Tuchel may now need to look for a replacement.
Reports claim that Napoli supremo Aurelio De Laurentiis is unhappy with the team’s performances and has already approached Maurizio Sarri about the possibility of replacing under-fire head coach Gennaro Gattuso.
And that has led to strong reports in the media which have claimed that Sarri would look to raid Chelsea and try to acquire the services of Jorginho, a move that his agent has failed to rule out
“Football is dynamic and nothing can be ruled out,” Santos told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli. “If Sarri returns to Napoli, he would make an attempt to bring Jorginho back. He is perfect for his football. I can’t rule it out.
“He has two years left on his contract and is a regular starter for Italy. However, with a good project, he would be open to coming back.”
And if the midfielder does decide to pack his bags in the summer window, then Tuchel will need to backing of the board to go out and buy an adequete replacement for the Italian midfielder, but we have three options that the German boss could look into signing.
ISCO – REAL MADRID: Isco has been a player that been linked with a move to Chelsea for a good few seasons now, but has never been allowed to leave the Spanish giants, who always make promises that he will be given more of a chance.
However, the summer window looks like he will definitely depart the club after Sevilla Sporting Director Monchi revealed that Isco does in fact want to leave the Spaniards.
So a bargain move for Chelsea could be on the cards.
MIRALEM PJANIC – JUVENTUS.: Again this is a player that has been the shopping list of many Chelsea bosses over the past few seasons, and rightly so, Pjanic is a world class midfielder.
The Bosnian is a player who dictates the tempo of matches for the Bianconeri and has been one of Europe’s most quietly consistent players for quite some time. He’s won Serie A in each of his three full seasons since signing from Roma in 2016, and will look, to add another this season.
Valued at £60 million, Juventus have no intention of selling, but with the current climate hitting big clubs hard, they would be open to the idea should the right offer arrive.
WILFRED NDIDI – LEICESTER CITY.: Ndidi made the move to Leicester City way back in the summer of 2017, but since his move to the Premier League, he has helped the foxes become one of the best sides in the English top-flight.
A box-to-box midfielder that is powerful enough to hold off even the best of midfielders, but he also has the ability to put in hat killer pass and score a few goals from time to time.
He has a contract until 2024, but again, the right offer could get a deal done. He is valued at £40 million, but £60 million is more likely to get a deal done
