£240 million trio to be signed and follow new arrival Hakim Ziyech to Chelsea this summer?

Chelsea have been linked with a whole bunch of players over the last few months, but there are three players that would make a serious impact. On paper, Chelsea are one of the best teams in the Premier League and will just need to add a few world class players in key areas of the pitch that will take the club to that next level, which will also mean that Frank Lampard will need to spend some serious money.

Chelsea made over £150 million last summer selling a bunch of their fringe players, and of course, Eden Hazard. Meaning that the board will surely back Lampard if they really believe that he is the man that will lead the club back to the top of the game, and possibly become Premier League Champions. And we have picked three players that we believe Chelsea should sign, if they wants to challenge Liverpool and Manchester City, and we start with a very big one.

Gianluigi Donnarumma – AC Milan: Lampard is keen to sign a new stopper as there is a lot of talk that he is not impressed with the performances of Kepa, who has struggled between the sticks this season and has come under intense criticism from the boss for some of his more high-profile performances.

And having long been admirers of Donnarumma, the news that Milan could be willing to flog their highly-rated young goalkeeper will be music to Chelsea chiefs’ ears, especially as it mans that Chelsea may get him for a fee cheaper than the £80 million he is valued at.

Donnarumma may only be 19-years of age, but he is already one of the best in Europe right now, and has been tipped to develop into one of the best goal-keepers of his generation, and would most certainly be an improvement on Kepa.

Alphonso Davies – Bayern Munich: Lampard has endured some dodgy results at Stamford Bridge this season, and despite all the praise that the boss has been receiving, there is still a feeling in the media that he could still get the sack if he does not get the club back inside the top four, and then push on to challenge next season.

And that has led to a lot of speculation in the media about whom the club record-scorer could sign in the summer, with the left-back area a section of the squad that Lampard needs to improve on, with some reports suggesting that BEN CHILWELL IS THE CLUBS NUMBER ONE SUMMER TRANSFER TARGET.

But if they want excitement, if they want speed and if they want raw potential, then Lampard should fork out just £40 million to steal one of the most exciting left-backs in the game right now, Davies. He has made a very big impact at Bayern this season, so much so, that the German side do not want to let him leave the club and will do anything to keep him, even offering him a nice big contract that will end all speculation in his future.

Chilwell is brilliant, but he is £100 million, Alex Telles is good going forward, but that wont help the defensive side of the game, Davies has that potential and can develop into a top class star, he could be a great signing.

Harry Kane – Tottenham: Regarded as one of the best strikers in the game right now, there has been some massive speculation in the media over the last few hours which have suggested that he is considering his future and could be on the market in the summer for £150 million. He would bring goals, he would bring that world class factor to the front-line, he would bring leadership and dedication, but most of all, he would bring GOALS! and on a regular basis too. So if Chelsea are keen on a striker, he should be their man.

Chelsea will have the money to spend in the summer, £150 million on Kane, £40 million on Davies and £50 million on Donnarumma, £240 million well spent, don’t you think?
