£300k-a-week winger suggests he wants Chelsea deal to happen under Enzo Maresca
Jadon Sancho, an on-loan winger, has hinted that he would like to make his move to CHELSEA permanent at the conclusion of the season after impressing in his first few appearances as a Blues star.
A few seasons ago, Sancho was undoubtedly one of the most intriguing young players in the Bundesliga, touted to become one of the best, and desired by all of the major teams.
Manchester United eventually won the battle to sign the winger, but despite all of his brilliance and fanfare, he was unable to live up to the high expectations that many had for him, and he became a complete bust at the Red Devils.
He was keen for a fresh start over the summer and with Chelsea seeking to add some more quality to the wings – the decision was made to take him to Stamford Bridge for the season, and he has impressed so far.
And now that He’s enjoyed a brilliant start to life back in London, his strong feelings for the club come as no surprise. In an interview with the official Chelsea website, Sancho hinted that he would like to stay in London: “London is where I grew up and I’m happy to be back.
“Chelsea is iconic. My idols growing up were Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard and now I have the opportunity to play for this club like them. It’s a great feeling.”
