“4 mistakes in a row” “Enough is enough I can’t take it anymore” – Enzo Maresca hits at 3 Chelsea players after what they did wrong against Sunderland

The Blues were stunned at Stamford Bridge, as the Blues lost 2-1 to newly-promoted Sunderland.

Speaking after the game, Blues boss Enzo Maresca revealed he was unhappy with some of his side’s aspect of the game.

Maresca pointed out his side’s lack of chances created in the 2-1 defeat to Sunderland. He also believes his team didn’t give a hundred percent, and mentioned the team’s lack of intensity to win second balls.

“Absolutely. Again, I think we were not good enough. Lack of creativity,” the Blues head coach told a press conference.

“We didn’t create a lot, apart from the goal probably. And we struggled. Also, I think, you know, we need to perform. We need our players to perform 100%.

“And even with 1-0, we lost some duels, we lost some second balls. And against this team, you need to win that.”

When pressed further on Chelsea increasingly resorting to crosses, Maresca added: “We crossed because we expected to have four or five players inside the box. Today, when we crossed, we had players inside the box, but probably the quality of the cross was not the best.”
