£400,000-a-week star makes decision about joining Chelsea this month

Chelsea target Karim Benzema has reportedly made a decision on his future amid rumours linking him with a move away from Saudi Arabia.

There has been alot of transfer speculation regarding CHELSEA over the past few months, as many believe that a new striker will make the move too Stamford Bridge at some point this transfer window.

Some big names have been linked with a move to London – but so has the name of Karim Benzema – who decided to ditch European football just six months ago and make the move to Saudi Arabian football for the money.

But according to L’Equipe, the striker is expected to stay in Saudi Arabia despite the recent rumours., and the report adds that those around the 36-year-old say he feels good and will remain with Al-Ittihad

Amid all the speculation and the rumours – former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Petit has warned the likes of CHELSEA about trying to get a deal done for the Frenchman.

Speaking to Compare.bet, Emmanuel Petit said: “What’s the price for Benzema? Do you have any idea how much Benzema will be earning in Saudi? I don’t think any English club will be able to offer him the same amount of money.

“It’s Benzema’s choice if he comes back but after winning everything with Real Madrid and being 34-years-old, I don’t think he will want to come to the Premier League, it’s so physical, it’s so mentally hard, it’s not La Liga.

“With all the respect for him, he played for probably the biggest club in the world with great success, but it’s not the Premier League. I’m not confident Arsenal should go to Benzema, they should go for someone else.”
