£50M valued star ‘now expected’ to get Chelsea January deal done!
Trevoh Chalobah is now expected to leave Chelsea in January transfer window, it has been claimed
CHELSEA were one of the most active sides in the transfer window over the past few months and managed to bring in a whole load of players that the board feel will help drive the club forward over the next couple of seasons.
However – there were also a number of players that the club no longer wanted to keep hold of and Chalobah was on the chopping board at Stamford Bridge.
Italian Journalist Fabrizio Romano recently claimed that Nottingham Forest and the Blues shook hands on a £25m deal for Chalobah after Bayern Munich saw a move of their own for the Chelsea No.14 break down, but he made the decision to stay and fight for his place in the Blues squad.
Tottenham were also linked with a late deadline day loan deal. The north Londoners are long-term admirers of the defender and could return for him in the January transfer window.
Now, the ESPN website has claimed that Chalobah is now expected to depart the club when the winter transfer window opens up, as the Blues are seeking to raise some funds in order to keep on improving the squad.
