83-goal attacker set to join Chelsea in summer after latest club decision
An striker who has scored 83 goals in his career at the age of 25 is expected to rejoin Chelsea in the summer.
The announcement follows Chelsea’s 1-0 victory over Leicester City in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, which was a crucial three-point victory in the battle for Champions League berths.
Cole Palmer missed a penalty kick in the first half that most of us would have thought he would score, so it didn’t seem like Chelsea’s day was going to be great.
Enzo Maresca was very pleased with the three points but he did once again threaten to take off one of his players if they went against his passing tactics.
All in all though it was a good afternoon for Chelsea as they firmly put themselves back in to fourth place in the Premier League.
Felix back to Chelsea
Joao Felix was signed by Chelsea last summer and then sent on loan to AC Milan just six months later. But his Chelsea story might not be over yet, because it looks like Milan are not interested in signing him this summer, meaning he will be back joining up with his Blues team mates for pre-season and even The Club World Cup.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen above) write that Felix’s time at Milan is ‘almost over’ after a bright start at the club, but the fire seems to have gone out.
Felix’s form in recent games and not being selected shows that they are now highly unlikely to want to sign the attacker on a permanent deal.
Chelsea will need to decide whether they will keep him in the squad next season or seek a new buyer.
