£84M star ‘TO CHOOSE’ Chelsea move – Blues in talks for £70M star

According to writer Ben Jacobs of GiveMeSport, Chelsea and Atletico are still in talks regarding Samu Omorodion, a striker.

There is no denying that the Chelsea board is still in the running to sign the top prospects in the game and bring them to Stamford Bridge in the coming weeks. A number of celebrities have been connected to the club.

Omorodion, a 20-year-old Spain U21 international, has only played for Atletico Madrid since coming from Granada in 2023. His contract expires in June 2028. Omorodion spent the previous season on loan at Deportivo Alaves, where he made 35 appearances and scored nine goals with one assist.

The club have reportedly had a £34 million offer rejected this month, and Marca claims it would take another £46 million to do a deal with Atletico Madrid. It is acknowledged that the Spanish club spent £5 million on Omorodion less than 12 months ago

West Ham United are also credited with an interest, and like CHELSEA are said to have had an approach turned down during this transfer window, but it seems that the Blues have not given up their chase to try and sign the forward

GiveMeSport and journalist Ben Jacobs has claimed that Chelsea are still very much interested in signing the striker from Madrid and are still in talks about getting a deal done.

The player recently spoke out about all the speculation – He told Marca: “Other clubs want me? My focus is on Atlético.

“I noticed that the people of Atlético supported me a lot, I also received a lot of support from the club, they told me to stay calm, that they trusted me.

“That is very gratifying for a player.”

OSIMHEN TO CHOOSE CHELSEA?

Napoli star Victor Osimhen has been backed to choose a move to Chelsea this summer rather than PSG.

CHELSEA have not had the season that many would have hoped for and that is partly down the the fact they have lacked goals all across the season – with Cole Palmer dragging the team over the line on numerous occasions.

Christopher Nkunku WAS injured for alot of the season, while Nicolas Jackson has only shown glimpses of the potential that many believe he has, and has been backed to never be a 30 goal a season striker.

That has led to many reports in the media that CHELSEA and PSG are ready to fight over the future of Osimhen after he decided that he would leave Napoli this transfer window and seek a move away from the Italians.

It has recently been claimed that PSG are actually winning the race for the big Nigerian star – that a move to the French League is something that he is keen on and he would be getting a massive wage to make that switch.

But Chelsea are 2/5 to sign Osimhen this summer even though Paris Saint-Germain 3/1 are said to be interested too, According to Betfair
