Top Chelsea target Timo Werner has made a decision on his immediate future according to the publication from Football London.
Timo Werner is on the payroll of German Bundesliga side RB Leipzig and his form has been exceptional for the league leaders this season. It was revealed that the German international has made up his mind to leave RB Leipzig but that would wait until this summer rather than the present January winter window.
Chelsea had been hopeful of signing him this month but they may have to wait till this summer to get their man. The West London giants also tried and failed to sign Lyon star Moussa Dembele.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard wants to sign a striker competition for Tammy Abraham who is the leading goalscorer in his squad.
Tammy Abraham has scored 15 goals in all competitions for Chelsea including 13 goals in the Premier League.
Lampard don’t have much faith in his present backup option of Michy Batshuayi and Olivier Giroud for Tammy Abraham. Apart from Moussa Dembele and Timo Werner, Chelsea have also been linked with CSKA Moscow star Fyodor Chalov.
