Loads of Chelsea fans were going in on their manager Frank Lampard after he brought on Mason Mount for N’Golo Kante in last night’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal, with one supporter calling it a “disgraceful decision”.
Wow he’s really lost his head

The Blues, who had a one-man advantage following David Luiz’s dismissal, were chasing a second goal at the time with the scores level at 1-1. Bearing that in mind, you can understand Lampard’s thinking behind bringing on a more attack-minded midfielder like Mount for Kante.
However, fans were not on the same wavelength as their boss, which is again understandable.
Albeit an attacking change, Mount’s form has not been great of late. The England international had registered just one assist in his last five Premier League games prior to the Arsenal clash.
And failing to provide a single key pass during his time on the pitch (via WhoScored), in the end, he was unable to make the sort of impact his manager would have hoped for as Chelsea allowed a 10-man Arsenal side to leave Stamford Bridge with a point.
