The transfer window will soon come to an end in a less than a week, but am pretty sure the Blues will make some signings before the end of the transfer window.
However, The Blues have been linked with several’s numbers of targets as Frank Lampard strengthen his squad, but so far, only an £860,000 deal for 16-year-old Bryan Fiabema has been done by Chelsea as no new name has been added to the senior team.
According to reports, Lampard wants to sign at least a goalkeeper and striker before the close of the January transfer window.
The Blues boss has targeted those two positions as his priority target.
Chelsea have been linked with Moussa Dembele and also Edinson Cavani to solve the team’s striking problems, but so far there has been no breakthrough in either deals.
Kepa Arrizabalaga has come in for much criticism this season and Lampard has tried to bring in extra help for the goalkeeper in the form of goalkeeping coach Shay Given and is also targeting competition for the Chelsea number one.
Chelse are now being linked with Burnley’s Nick Pope, and the Blues boss is hopeful he can strike a deal this January. Whether that seems to be likely is another case for concern.
