Lots of Chelsea fans were not impressed with Jorginho’s performance in their side’s 2-2 draw with Leicester City on Saturday.
Jorginho is to slow to play in that position.11 yellows already this season.

While Antonio Rudiger proved to be the hero on the day for the Blues, scoring both goals including the all-important equaliser, Jorginho was the villain for some. The Italy international picked up his ninth yellow card of the season just before the hour mark for a foul on James Maddison, prompting criticism.
Several supporters were quick to call for Mateo Kovacic to be brought on, a substitution Frank Lampard eventually made and one that did bear some fruit. The 25-year-old was able to register a 100% pass success rate during his time on the pitch (via WhoScored) as he provided Chelsea with a composed presence in the centre.
His pass success rate was vastly superior to Jorginho’s (82%), albeit he made less passes than his team-mate. Whatever the case, Jorginho’s latest outing was one that underwhelmed.
