Chelsea fans have taken to Twitter to react after Jadon Sancho grabbed his 13th Bundesliga assist of the campaign in the 4-3 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen.
The 11-cap England international has been in quite stupendous form for Borussia Dortmund this season, tallying up 15 goals and 15 assists in all competitions – he has 12 goals and 13 assists in the Bundesliga.
The former Manchester City man has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, with Sky Sports reporting that Chelsea were among a number of European giants to have made an initial enquiry for the 19-year-old.
Sancho’s form this season comes after he enjoyed another brilliant campaign in 2018/19, in which he netted 12 goals and grabbed 14 assists in Germany’s top-flight – the fact that he is only one assist from equalling that tally highlights just how much progress he is making at the Signal Iduna Park. To kick off the reaction, these two supporters demanded that Chelsea “break the bank” to sign the 5 foot 11 teenager.
Borussia Dortmund are believed to have slapped a £127m price tag on the forward’s head, so it seems as if the Blues really would have to part with an extraordinary sum to land Sancho.
Elsewhere, these two Chelsea fans also encouraged the club to land the Englishman at all costs.
Tom said “there is no excuse” for not landing Sancho and that the west-Londoners should “even sign him for £200m” – Vic then added that he doesn’t care how much it costs, and that the attacker is “a necessity at this point”. Lastly, Zach made the bold statement in saying that Sancho is “100% the Hazard replacement that we need” – a huge claim.
