Chelsea got an important victory against Spurs at Stamford Bridge as goals from Olivier Giroud and Marcos Alonso sealed the three points for the Blues and extends our gap at the top of the table to four points.

Caballero: Unfortunate to not have kept a clean sheet as he made some top saves to keep the team safe. 7/10
Azpilicueta: Superb captain’s performance as he put in a solid shift in defence. Made one massive block in the first-half to deny Spurs a goal. 7/10
Rudiger: Shaky start to the game, got better in the second half but unfortunately conceded an own goal. 6/10
Christensen: Top class performance from the Dane as he played with a face mask. Very solid at the back and did his job without much fuss. 7/10
Reece James: Did okay defensively but didn’t have many opportunities to run at Ben Davies and deliver some crosses to the centre forward. 6/10
Alonso: Scored Chelsea’s second goal with a massive left strike and also hit the woodwork from a dangerous free-kick. Definitely a top class left wing-back. 8/10
Jorginho: Made a stunning pass from deep in the buildup to the opening goal. Good game in the middle of the park. 7/10
Kovacic: Had a decent game as he drove with the ball from midfield at times. Endured a physical battle in the second half. 7/10
Barkley: Massive game from the England international as he got a rare start this afternoon. Gave the assist for Alonso’s goal. Was also involved in the first goal as his rebound shot hit the bar and fell kindly for Giroud to blast home. 7.5/10
Mount: Class performance from the 21-year-old midfielder. Worked his socks off, linked up well with Giroud and was involved in the opening goal. 8/10
Giroud: Top performance yet again as he proved why he deserves to play more. Good goal with a wonderful left foot strike and his overall performance was top class. 8/10

Tammy Abraham: Came on for a tired Giroud and he continued the battle up front. Could have gotten on the scoresheet. 6/10
Willian: Had a good chance after coming on for Ross Barkley. 6/10
