Chelsea Boss Frank Lampard has been impressed by the young talent Mason Mount following his massive performance against Spurs this afternoon.
Frank Lampard has said that he hopes Mason Mount’s performance against Tottenham today is “digested properly” after the midfielder put in a battling display for the Blues.
From start to finish Mount looked charged up and was very effective as the inside forward role, harrying high up the pitch and winning the ball back in dangerous areas.
Speaking after the game, Lampard “Mason’s performance, I hope that gets digested properly… his work rate and the sharpness in his game today was unbelievable.”
Frank Lampard was keen for him to get the praise he deserved after a spell where he’s been criticised by fans and pundits for bad performances.
The last couple of games has seen him back to his best, and if he can keep up this good form he will be back in the goals and assists soon.
And if he can do that, we might just find ourselves in the top four after all.
