Billy Gilmour’s impressive stats vs Everton that proves he’s the next ‘Fabregas’

Chelsea’s wonder-kid’s Billy Gilmour won the man of the match award against Liverpool on Tuesday night, and he repeated the it today in his first Premier League start.

His numbers were unreal, showing just how effective he was between the lines shifting the ball quickly and dangerously. He had the second most touches of any player on the pitch – on his Premier League debut.

He played like Jorginho today, but a Jorginho with way more forward momentum and drive to advance possession.

He can also take a touch and run forward if space opens up, meaning opposing defences have to defend him far more carefully.

We can’t wait to see how good he can get. At this rate he’s going to play every week, and gain valuable experience ahead of next week.

He could even get the nod to face Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
