Chelsea fans here will be hoping for a busy summer as they failed to produce quality at times this season, with squad depth currently a struggle for the Blues.
Indeed, the Blues will have their eyes set on securing the Premier League title next season after putting up a poor title defence, with many of our local resident currently feeling extremely underwhelmed.
Although, the club’s owner Roman Abramovich may look to take charge of a couple of transfers once again this summer, as Chelsea are in desperate need of another attacking player after witnessing Alvaro Morata’s inconsistencies.
Indeed, the Blues may not be able to use him as the Spaniard’s long-term replacement at the pinnacle of the attack, but he’ll be sure to produce a respectable amount of goals in the side.
So without further ado, Abramovich has been left with no choice than to try and lure this star to Stamford Bridge…
LEON BAILEY
Leon Bailey, who is valued at £40.5 million (by Transfermarkt), isn’t typically a striker but he could quite easily become the Blues’ main goalscoring outlet if he makes the move, having scored 12 and assisted six in just 30 appearances this season.
The Jamaican can offer bags of pace and a handful of tricks that have already troubled some world-class defenders over in Germany. And, with Pedro and Willian potentially heading for the exits this summer, perhaps the Blues could look to partner him up with Eden Hazard next season.
And, with Chelsea already having lots of promising young talent at the club, perhaps the Blues will be able to lure him to Stamford Bride by loaning youngsters out to the German club in return.
