Spanish claims Chelsea robbed Real Madrid, Blues board to bring brilliant £90 million striker, as United legend hails Chelsea player

Spanish media outlet Marca has accused Chelsea of robbing Spanish side Real Madrid in 2019.

Marca claim Chelsea robbed Real Madrid by selling Eden Hazard to Spanish side for €160million and using the funds to build a squad that would go on to knock Real Madrid out of the Champions League, less than two years after Hazard made the move to Spain.

According to Marca, Hazard’s transfer from Chelsea to Real Madrid is the biggest robbery of the century.

Following Hazard’s exit to Real Madrid, Chelsea signed Christian Pulisic, Timo Werner, Kai Havertz and Edouard Mendy and they all played key roles in knocking Real Madrid out of the Champions League.

Since joining Real Madrid, Hazard has had 11 injuries and missed 66 games for the Spanish side. In the 40 games he has played for Real Madrid, he has contributed just four goals and seven assists.

Chelsea are determined to win the race for Tottenham striker Harry Kane in the summer transfer window.

Spurs have their most prized asset tied to a contract through to the summer of 2024 and that is helping to keep his asking price up, with Daniel Levy and Co under no pressure to sell.

But as he enters the prime years of his career, there has been alot of speculation that he may force a move away at the end of the season in a bid to fulfil his dream of adding some silverware to that cabinet

That has led to reports in the media that we will be interested in a transfer deal, as Thomas Tuchel knows that he needs to add a world class striker to the attack that will be able to net 30-goals a season.

And reports have claimed Chelsea are determined to win the race for Tottenham striker Harry Kane – according to Football Insider.

The news come after Kane claimed he is convinced that major trophies “will come” for him: “I’ve done so many things in the game but there’s still so many things in my head that I want to achieve.

“I spoke openly about [winning silverware]. That’s the reason why I play the game, that’s why I became a footballer – to win and have those experiences with my team-mates, lifting trophies and winning the biggest games.

“It hasn’t happened so far but I feel I’ve got plenty of time in my locker. I’m just looking forward and I’m sure they will come.”

Former Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov has hailed Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante as unbelievable and believes the midfielder should receive awards for all the hard work he does all over the pitch.

“I love Kante,” Berbatov said as quoted by Metro UK. “He was everywhere against Real Madrid. I don’t know how to describe this player. He is so good.

“They should have an award in football for players like this. He is someone who works hard and covers everyone on the pitch.”

“He doesn’t want people to say thank you,” Berbatov added. “He just does it. He will put his body on the line for you.

“That guy is unbelievable. He deserves credit because the way he plays is great.”
