Just in: Marina makes ‘special’ contact to sign €80m-rated world-class attacker

According to Evening Standard, Chelsea have reportedly made contact with representatives of Harry Kane,

The Blues are on the hunt for a new striker and with Romelu Lukaku claiming he won’t leave Inter, Chelsea have now turned their sights on Kane.

It must be stated that Evening Standard isn’t the most reliable source, but what cannot be discarded is that Chelsea are desperate for a proven goalscorer.

Kane, 27, scored 23 goals in appearances to win the Premier League golden shoe for 2020/21.

Kane given his all
For all his individual accolades – three Premier League Golden boots amongst others – and all his goals, 221 in 336 games for Spurs, major titles have still evaded Kane.

His service to Tottenham cannot be disputed, nor can the praise that’s followed in the striker’s sensational wake.

Jose Mourinho admitted to BT Sport back in February that: “Harry Kane is a special player in the history of the club”.

But what can be argued is the number of trophies currently propped up in his cabinet.

Chelsea to turn on the charm
If Kane is looking for winners’ medals, it’s difficult to look much further than Chelsea.

Thomas Tuchel recently guided the Blues to Champions League glory and wasn’t too far away from lifting the FA Cup.

Attention will be now on stealing the Premier League crown off Manchester City next season; with Kane potentially leading their line, that would be a very realistic scenario.
