Chelsea and Manchester United have both been credited with an interest in landing Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig’s striker Timo Werner.
Reports from German weekly sports magazine Sport Bild, as quoted on Sport Witness, have looked at the star’s potential next move, with his long-term future at RB Leipzig up in the air.
Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have also been credited with a strong interest in the German star, who has impressed so many since joining Die Roten Bullen.
After proving himself as one of the most potent strikers in Bundesliga, Werner has been strongly linked with moves away from the German top flight.
The report states that the player could still sign a fresh contract at Leipzig, with his current deal running until 2020.
However, the prospect of extending the current contract is not believed to be so straightforward and it is yet to be seen if a new proposal will arrive for the striker.
With Timo Werner now regarded as one of the best strikers in Europe, any move to sign the 22-year-old star is not going to come cheaply.
