Revealed: Two players Tuchel wants Chelsea to sign in coming weeks
According to a report from the Daily Mail UK, Todd Boehly, the club owner, has received two names from Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel to sign this summer.
Raheem Sterling of Man City and Ousmane Dembele of Barcelona are the two players.
Since Marina Granovskaia is no longer a member of the Chelsea team, the club’s new owner Boehly has been given the duty of making fresh signings while waiting for a replacement to be found.
Chelsea is one of the elite clubs that hasn’t made any significant signings yet this summer but has seen some important players leave Stamford Bridge.
Dembele and the West London team have discussed a potential transfer to Stamford Bridge after his contract with the Catalans expires at the end of the month.
Sterling, a standout for Man City, is rumored to have spoken with Tuchel about a potential transfer to Chelsea.
Tuchel and Dembele were coworkers at Borussia Dortmund, and since Dembele cost Barcelona £135 million in 2018, the German manager thinks the winger will be a fantastic addition to Chelsea.
The Daily Mail said that Tuchel wants Sterling and Dembele and has instructed Boehly to execute the transactions for both players.
