According to latest reports via The Sun, Benfica president Rui Costa has revealed the Portuguese club will allow Enzo Fernandez join Chelsea in January if they receive a €120million offer from the Blues.
However, The Blues are reportedly interested in signing the 21 year old midfielder who played a key role in Argentina’s World Cup success but face competition from Liverpool and Manchester United.
Now, Speaking to DAZN, president Costa conceded: “We don’t want to give up Enzo Fernandez in January, but we are willing to please the boy in the event of a €120 million offer.”
Fernandez was crowned the best young player at the World Cup as La Albiceleste went all the way and won the tournament.
