DONE DEAL! As Midfielder spotted in London to undergo Chelsea medical after club reach agreement with player
According to latest reports via transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Brazilian top midfielder Andrey Santos is currently in London to undergo his Chelsea medical ahead of a move to Stamford Bridge.
However, Chelsea have reached an agreement with Brazilian club Vasco da Gama for the transfer of the 18 year old midfielder, with Chelsea also agreeing personal terms with the player.
The Blues will pay Vasco da Gama a fixed fee of €12.5million for the transfer of Santos to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea and Todd Bohely are expected to release an official statement soon confirming the signing of Santos.
Meanwhile, manager Graham Potter, are looking to make it three wins from their last three, and thanks to a goal from Raheem Sterling, they have taken a huge step toward achieving just that.
Forest defender Willy Boly attempted to clear the ball from his own box but inadvertently directed his clearance goalwards. Rebounding off the bar, goalkeeper Dean Henderson could do nothing to stop Sterling from firing in a close-range volley.
