Announcement imminent as Chelsea deal to sign international midfielder ‘AGREED’
CHELSEA‘s deal to sign Ecuador U17 international midfielder Kendry Paez has now been agreed, it has been claimed.
Since the arrival of Ted Boehly at the club last summer – the Club have been spending some serious money on some of the best young talents in the game right now.
It is clear that the American has a long-term plan at Stamford Bridge and has made sure that Chelsea have beaten off their rivals for those talents – and it seems that they have once again done it with the possible signing of Paez.
It is believed that the midfielder could cost the Blues around £20m – with any potential fee set to rise depending on his performances up to his 18th birthday.
Sky Sports news has now claimed The final paperwork is now in process of being sorted. Paez, 15, will remain at Independiente del Valle until he turns 18. He will officially join Chelsea in the summer of 2025.
Many people that watch football from all over the world are very excited about the talents of Paez – he really does look like something special and a player that could have a big future in the game.
Chelsea fans will not get to see the lad make the move OFFICIALLY for a number of seasons – which is a shame – but hopefully he will not get forgotten about and lost in that CHELSEA system when he does arrive at the club.
It is a massive decision from the lad, if the reports are true, as it could make or break his career in the Premier League.’
