The Blues found themselves 1-0 down to the Reds through Luis Diaz before going 2-0 down, only for Mohamed Salah’s strike to be ruled offside.
Amazingly, Chelsea then found themselves level at 1-1 thanks to Axel Disasi before going 2-1 up, only for Ben Chilwell’s strike to also be adjudged offside.
Nevertheless, Mauricio Pochettino’s side grew into the game, with the Argentine’s No.24 proving influential down the right flank.
So, what did Jamie Carragher say about Reece James? Let’s take a look
Well, the Sky Sports pundit gave the England international a lot of credit for helping Chelsea fight back against Liverpool
Speaking live on commentary duty alongside Peter Drury and Gary Neville, Carragher said: “Reece James’ position is a huge problem for Liverpool. He keeps getting caught in between players.
“Andy Robertson is not sure whether to close him, Virgil van Dijk is not coming across with Raheem Sterling. That is where those really good combinations are coming from for Chelsea.”
