Chelsea star Cole Palmer destroys England teammate Kyle Walker in training again ‘Sends him back to Manchester City’

Chelsea news as the Blues winger outdone his former Man City teammate once again in the Three Lions training camp

Chelsea star Cole Palmer has embarrassed his former Manchester City teammate Kyle Walker twice in the space of a few days as the pair prepare for England duty.

The Blues winger, who swapped the Etihad Stadium for Stamford Bridge over the summer in a £42.5m move, has hit the ground running with the Blues under Mauricio Pochettino who appears to have unshackled the star. Having already recorded more minutes at Chelsea than he had for Man City under Pep Guardiola, Palmer has become a pivotal part of the team’s recent success.

All four of his goals in his last five appearances have come from the penalty spot, including a 95th-minute equaliser against his former team which handed Chelsea a much-deserved point in a 4-4 draw last weekend. He’s also grabbed three assists in his time with the club so far, making him one of the Blues’ best outlets this season.

In the video, Palmer can be seen amongst his Three Lions teammates in what’ll be one of his first training sessions with the senior team. The group can be seen playing a ‘rondo’, a game where two defenders in the middle of the circle must intercept the ball which is being passed around by each player.

There are numerous times throughout the video where Walker gets close to catching Palmer, but the Chelsea star evades him every time, including an incredible flick between Walker and fellow ‘defender’ Sam Johnstone which received an audible cheer from his teammates.

In the end, the players complete 45 passes before Walker finally gets the ball out of play after blocking a pass between City star Phil Foden and England captain Harry Kane. Whether Palmer will make his England debut is yet to be seen, but the star’s eagerness can already be seen in their training camp.
