‘I believe’ – Eden Hazard makes ‘unexpected’ Chelsea Premeir League position after Tottenham and Manchester City games
Former Chelsea man Eden Hazard has rooted for Blues following the sides recent form that has left many eye brows raised.
It’s obvious the American project at Chelsea isn’t a bad one as their move to sign many young talents is gradually turning out fruitful.
However, there are fears the side may not achieve any major success this season considering the nature of the league currently with the presence of teams like Manchester City.
But a contrary belief has now been injected into the air by Blues’ recent performance against City, holding them to a full time 4-4 score just after beating Tottenham Hotspur 1-4 in the previous match fixture day.
However, according to former Chelsea star Eden Hazard, claims that the Blues are already possessing traits of a tittle contending team. He believes Chelsea be major contender of the league this season, if already they are not.
Chelsea are currently 12-points behind the table leaders, Manchester City after 12 matches played so far and Hazard is keen that Chelsea can close the gap to contend heavily for the title this season.
“It’s not something impossible,” Eden Hazard said. “We have talents in the club and we can win trophies with these talents.
“I like to watch the boys, they play good and they are in love with the game, they want to fight together as a team, as a family. They want to achieve something big.
“Maybe you can think it’s far to say they can fight for the Premier League but as for me, 12 or 13 points is not impossible to cover. It’s not. They can still do something massive this season, I believe.”
