“I think so, I am not sure but I think so,” Sarri told BBC following the FA Cup elimination on Monday when asked if Chelsea player still have faith in his football philosophy.
“The situation with the players is really good for their relationship, but the relationship is not so important. It’s important to play and get the results but my relationship with my players at the moment is good.”
Sarri has made errors but Chelsea have nourished a culture that means a philosophy such as his will never be granted the time to thrive. Players have no motivation to endure the pain/teething problems as they know the club will always fire the manager.
