This is where Chelsea will finish this season – Cole Palmer finally reveals

Now that Chelsea is playing well, it appears that Mauricio Pochettino’s project is coming together.

Cole Palmer, a midfielder for Chelsea, was overjoyed with the 3-2 triumph at Nottingham Forest on the road.

After Willy Bony wiped out Chelsea’s advantage through Mykhaylo Mudryk on minute 74, Callum Hudson-Odoi put Forest ahead 2-1, leaving Chelsea down 2-1.

Raheem Sterling (80′) and Nicolas Jackson (82′) both scored goals quickly to help Chelsea win 3-2 at the City Ground.

Cole Palmer was pleased with the victory, and has said Chelsea are targeting a sixth-place finish.

Cole Palmer said: “It’s a big win. We needed to win today and get the three points. When we went behind we thought ‘not again’.”

On Reece James returning, he added: “Everyone knows how good he is and to have him back is a big plus. Hopefully he can stay fit and help us.

“I came to play football. I’m trying to enjoy it and keep my feet on the ground and continue to work hard.

“Getting sixth place is our goal. Hopefully we can go back to Europe.”
