Following rumors that they were in Brazil this week, Chelsea has been working to finalize a transfer for Messinho this week.
There has been a lot of transfer rumour in recent weeks over the future of Messinho, the young Brazilian who is creating waves in his native country.
It’s certain that Chelsea and Barcelona are the teams pursuing the attacker; numerous rumors claim Chelsea has already reached an agreement with the player before his potential 2025 transfer.
Estevao’s representative is “determined” for Estevao to join Chelsea over Barca, and it would appear that Pochettino’s men are on the verge of closing a deal for the forward who has a £52 million release clause in his contract.
“The player likes the idea of living in London, his agent is very close to CHELSEA, he didn’t like Vitor Roque’s situation [at Barcelona], it’s the same agent and he’s already determined that he won’t go there,” said his agent Elia (via Sport Witness).
“He hasn’t signed a contract yet, I repeat, but from what I’ve heard from London, I don’t see any other alternative than a closed deal, and quickly, in the next few days.”
Now – representatives from Chelsea reportedly attended the Copa Libertadores game between Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A club Palmeiras and Ecuadorian Serie A club Independiente del Valle to finalise a deal for Estevao Willian, according to Brazilian outlet Universo Online.
