Elite star happy to join Chelsea – Maresca wants world class signing – Brazilian confirms offers for Exciting Blues target

According to certain sources, Pedro Lima from Sport Recife may be on Chelsea’s radar for a signing.

Although the CHELSEA board has been busy in the last few transfer windows, adding a number of players for the future, they are adhering to their transfer philosophy even if they need to buy seasoned stars.

The 17-year-old has been linked to the Blues recently. Globo Esporte, an outlet, has reported that Sport Recife has “official offers” for the player’s transfer in hand, with Chelsea among the clubs interested in him. This is an interesting development regarding the player’s status.

The Brazilian club confirmed that information – João Marcelo Barros, who’s a member of Sport’s football management committee, told Globo Esporte: “We’re not going to comment on proposals from specific clubs. But I can confirm that there are offers for the player.”

OSIMHEN HAPPY TO JOIN –

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen would ‘happily’ join Chelsea this summer and is ready for the move, Blues insider Simon Phillips reports.

CHELSEA have not had the season that many would have hoped for and that is partly down the the fact they have lacked goals all across the season – with Cole Palmer dragging the team over the line on numerous occasions.

Christopher Nkunku has been injured for alot of the season, while Nicolas Jackson has only shown glimpses of the potential that many believe he has, and has been backed to never be a 30 goal a season striker.

That has led to many reports in the media that CHELSEA and PSG are ready to fight over the future of Osimhen after he decided that he would leave Napoli in the transfer window and seek a move away from the Italians.

It has recently been claimed that PSG are actually winning the race for the big Nigerian star – that a move to the French League is something that he is keen on and he would be getting a massive wage to make that switch.

But according to Phillips, Osimhen would quite happily make the move to Chelsea in the transfer market, he said: “It’s all quiet at the moment and the ball remains in Chelsea’s court. An Italian source I’ve spoken to is adamant that Osimhen would happily join Chelsea and would be up for the move.

“But nothing has advanced as of yet and Chelsea have still been deciding on which striker to go for and whether they can afford to pay up for Osimhen.

‘A deal would need to be done that fully favours Chelsea for this to happen.”

MARESCA WANTS STOPPER –

Incoming Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca is reportedly keen to add a new goalkeeper to the squad in the summer window, with reports Jan Oblak is a wanted man.

Maresca is the man that the Chelsea board feel can take the club forward after Mauricio Pochettino failed to impress as coach of the club last season – and the Italian will be backed in the transfer window.

And The Telegraph report that the 44-year-old will prioritise signing a new goalkeeper as he looks to improve key areas of the squad that is lacking in real quality.

CHELSEA made some big signings last summer that they believed would help the club challenge for a Champions League spot and maybe add some silverware to the cabinet.

One arrival that was made was that of Robert Sanchez – who was no longer wanted at Brighton and was quickly signed up by the Blues as they were desperate to add a new stopper to the side.

He has been a massive part of that Chelsea side this season – but he is not seen as a man that is good enough to play for one of the big Premier League clubs and has really struggled to impress.

Oblak has been a name that Chelsea have been linked with for the last few years and the Club could be able to get a transfer deal done for the man as Maresca wants a world class stopper added to the side.

With the sporting management headed by Carlos Bucero and Andrea Berta, Atlético intends to carry out a renewal focused on lightening the economic burden of the team, and Oblak, with one of the highest salaries, is in the spotlight.

Despite having a contract until 2028 and a release clause of 120 million euros, the club would be willing to consider offers for the goalkeeper, according to recent reports from the newspaper AS.
