Chelsea closing in on deal for £375k-a-week star after FIRST offer made

Rumor has it that Napoli has placed a preliminary proposal this summer for Romelu Lukaku, a prominent player for Chelsea.

Since joining Roma, Lukaku has been playing well, as seen by his 18 goals this season across all competitions. But if he can’t agree to a transfer to a new team, he’s expected to return to CHELSEA FC at the end of the season.

Romelu Lukaku reportedly informed Chelsea that he was interested in moving to Saudi Arabia and that Chelsea had decided to let him depart. Lukaku will not play for the Blues again, according to recent sources.

But as they look to recruit a successor right away, the biggest team in Italy, Napoli, is the first to make an offer to sign Lukaku this summer.

But their offer is said to be around half of the £38million CHELSEA are demanding to let the striker go.

With Antonio Conte now in place in Naples a reunion is one more possible, but Chelsea are not interested in letting Lukaku leave on loan again and will want to get close to that £38 million before they conclude business.

Reporter told Chelsea247: ‘Lukaku has not had a bad season at Roma – he has been very impressive for the Italian side – but a move back to the Premier League should not happen – he needs to stay away from the English game.

The CHELSEA FC board will not have a very hard time of convincing the big striker to make the move away from the club in the coming weeks as he has shown constantly that he wants to leave.

There will be a few more clubs interested in a move for the big man – but we would not be surprised to see that move happen – as Chelsea know that they could get some major money for the Belgian star.

So it has not come as a surprise that he has probably played his last game for the club and will probably pack his bags at the end of the season on a permanent basis, and Napoli would be a very good move for him to make now that Conte is there.’
