As everyone waits for the break to end, Enzo Maresca, the new manager of Chelsea, is already planning how to maximize the potential of the team he has assembled for the position.
The team’s attacker, Nicolas Jackson, has drawn a lot of attention because he has had difficulty maintaining consistency since joining the Blues.
Jackson came to the West Londoners from Spanish team Villarreal, where he played 35 games and scored 14 goals in his Premier League debut.
Enzo Maresca, the new manager of Chelsea, seems to be among the few who thinks Jackson may be the ideal number nine for the team’s new endeavor, despite the fact that many are clamoring for his replacement and others are pleading for the attacker to be patient.
Sources close to Maresca claim that the former Leicester City manager is already coming up with strategies to bring out the best in Jackson, one of which is to give him greater assistance on the field.
It’s also known that, should the attacker persist in having difficulty up front, Maresca is willing to test him out on the wings. Jackson will reportedly play a significant role in the Enzo project.
Even though Nigerian Victor Osimhen is one of the number nines Chelsea has been connected to, nothing solid has been confirmed as of yet. This does not, however, mean that they will not find rivals for Jackson before the summer window closes.
