N’Golo Kanté finally reacted to Enzo Fernández racist chant video
Following certain Argentine team members’ racist shouts made towards Kylian Mbappé and the French national team, N’Golo Kanté has shared his thoughts.
Kanté spoke out against such behavior in response to the chanting, which have drawn worldwide censure.
“Some members of the Argentine squad have directed racist chants towards Kylian Mbappé and our national team, which deeply saddens and disappoints me,” said Kante.
Racism has no place in society, let alone in football. We engage in this lovely game to cheer up supporters and bring people together from different backgrounds and ethnicities.”
Kanté underlined the detrimental effects of racism on people as well as the larger ideal of sportsmanship that football embodies.
The Frenchman went on, “Racism not only harms individuals but also tarnishes the spirit of sportsmanship and unity that football embodies.”
“Together, we must denounce this kind of conduct and strive toward a time when equality and respect are core principles both on and off the field.
“I support Kylian and all of my teammates in our demand to eradicate racism in football.”
