“He will turn Chelsea to title contenders” “Pay & gt him Bohely” – Chelsea told they can sign 36-goal man for just £40m

Before the transfer deadline, Everton’s former manager Keith Wyness stated that Man City might entertain offers of about £40 million for Julian Alvarez, a target for Chelsea.

There have been some shocking rumors that CHELSEA may try to sign Alvarez during this transfer window, as the Blues strive to bolster their assault over the next few months.

Alvarez is a key member of that Man City team, but it has been reported that he wants more playing time at the team and is willing to leave if Pep Guardiola cannot accommodate his demands.

However – it seemed that Man City will not be selling the striker this summer as Guardiola did not want to see the forward depart the club – but El Chiringuito claims that the Argentine forward has ‘shocked’ the English champions with his demands.

He is also said to have asked City for a ‘logical’ asking price for potential buyers

Alvarez has scored 36 goals in two seasons since joining Pep Guardiola’s team. But according to many reports have claimed Chelsea are ready to table an offer to try and get a deal done for the striker

Now Wyness has claimed Man City could accept bids of around £40million – he told Football Insider‘s Insider Track podcast: “He shone very brightly for a while, but now it seems it’s not quite going as well.

“I can’t help but feel there may be some personal or family issues for him to want to move elsewhere.

“I think he will be gone. His agent will be working overtime to try and manufacture a move. I don’t expect him to be at City this season.

“You’d be looking at somewhere around the £40million mark. He’s not coming off a fantastic season.”
