BREAKING: Fabrizio Romano confirms TWO MORE Chelsea transfers could COLLAPSE

There’s a serious chance that two more Chelsea transactions will fall through.

The collapse of Samu Omorodion’s €40 million transfer from Atletico Madrid to Chelsea affected further transactions between the two teams.

After clearing a medical in Madrid and agreeing to a contract with Atletico, Conor Gallagher was about to sign with the team, but the agreement could now fall through.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea has asked Gallagher to come to London on Tuesday and will arrange for the midfield player to take a flight home.

Joao Felix’s transfer to Chelsea – which was seen as an alternative to the original Omorodion deal – has also now stalled.

TalkSport report that Atletico are furious with Chelsea for pulling the plug on the Omorodion deal over fears over his fitness.

As a result, Atletico seem reluctant to continue doing business with Chelsea, which makes the Gallagher and Felix deals even likelier to collapse.

Chelsea have now begun offering Gallagher around to other Premier League clubs in an attempt to sell him.

The Blues have put Gallagher up for sale for a few important financial reasons.

First of all, following two years of record spending, Chelsea need to sell players in order to balance the books.

Secondly, Gallagher is one of the few players with heavy interest who can guarantee a big profit in this regard.

Thirdly, Gallagher’s contract at Stamford Bridge expires in 2025 and Chelsea cannot afford to lose him on a free transfer.

Gallagher at Chelsea
The 24-year-old has been at Chelsea since he was a youth player from 2008.

After a series of loan moves he established himself as a regular in the first team, and in total he has made 95 appearances for the club, scoring 10 goals.

He was one of the few players to come out of the 2023-24 season with any credit as Chelsea endured another miserable campaign.

Gallagher has also won 13 caps for the England national team and he is in the squad for Euro 2024 this summer.
