Chelsea announcement ‘In coming hours’ as £300k-a-week star completes Chelsea medical
Joao Felix is apparently nearing a move to Chelsea after finishing the first portion of his physical, as reported by Fabrizio Romano, as the Blues prepare to make a surprise announcement in the next few hours.
Felix has reached a personal terms agreement with the Blues and is anticipated to sign a six-year contract at Stamford Bridge. During the second part of the 2022–2023 season, the 24-year-old played in 20 games and scored four goals.
Following Samu Omorodion’s failed attempt to go to England, CHELSEA received an offer for the Portugal international. Conor Gallagher, who declined three contract offers from the team, will go the other way and eventually complete his move to Spain.
Felix’s move has only intensified the doubts and confusion over Chelsea’s spending. When Felix returns to west London, Enzo Maresca will have more options than he would like.
According to a reporter on Chelsea247, believes that Chelsea fans are right to be skeptical about a move for ‘talented’ star – and this is just the Blues board making more decisions that are costing the club – “£161 million on players that are not ready to make any sort of impact on the club this season, that is what that Chelsea board have been signing.
“I think with Pedro Neto, fans will think ‘yes!’. at least the club have signed someone that can make an impact on the side this season – have signed a player that is worth the money.
“I like Joao Felix, I think he’s such a talented footballer but for whatever reason, there always seems to be something missing – he just isnt good enough to play for one of the top clubs.
“CHELSEA fans will be looking at it and thinking, ‘what are the board doing, how desperate are they becoming?’ We already have Cole Palmer in the side, where will Felix play?
‘This is mad that Chelsea could re-sign Felix – the move last time didint work out and now that the Blues have Cole Palmer – the Portuguese star is not needed – the board are literally losing their minds guys.
‘If i was a CHELSEA fan – i would be seriously worried about a relegation battle.’
