“If you continue like this, you may sit on the bench” – Enzo Maresca sends clear message to two Chelsea stars after poor performance against Wolves
The performance of Moises Caicedo and Mykhailo Mudryk against wolves is questioned by the Italian coach.
Mykhailo Mudryk received criticism from Chelsea head coach Maresca, particularly after his solo performance against Wolves on Sunday.
Before being replaced early at halftime, the 23-year-old speedster led the team from the start. Sadly, despite his efforts on the ball, the left winger was unable to have the intended effect on the game.
Maresca responded via his post-match press conference when questioned about Mudryk’s substitution.
“Because I was not happy. In some moments we can manage some situations better.
He was working hard off the ball but on the ball, I expect a bit more quality from Misha.
Secondly, Chelsea fans were extremely unimpressed with Moisés Caicedo’s performance despite their massive win against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League.
The Ecuadorian midfielder failed to have any goal contributions while misplacing a few passes. He completed 33/37 passes, completed 1/3 dribbles, won 1/2 tackles, and won 4/9 ground duels.
