Done Deal: Chelsea confirmed another £72m player ‘It’s a DONE DEAL’
Kepa Arrizabalaga, a goalkeeper, has officially joined Bournemouth on a loan deal that runs through the end of the season, according to Chelsea.
Kepa, who played on loan for Real Madrid the previous season, is one of the players who Enzo Maresca has cut from the Chelsea starting lineup.
Before allowing Kepa to sign with Bournemouth, Chelsea extended his contract by one year.
Kepa’s initial contract was due to expire in 2025, and that would mean Chelsea will lose their £72m signing for free next summer.
With his contract now expiring in 2026, Chelsea will be hoping Kepa impresses on loan with Bournemouth, so they can sell him for a decent price next summer, and recoup some part of his hefty transfer fee.
