“I won’t allow you to get me sacked” – Enzo Maresca sends clear warning to Chelsea after 1-1 draw against Palace
Chelsea were not able to make it back-to-back wins in the Premier League after they were held at Stamford Bridge today.
The Blues’ match against Crystal Palace ended in a 1-1 draw, meaning they were unable to advance to the Champions League spots.
Enzo Maresca will be frustrated that his team was unable to build on the lead they had established for themselves in the first half.
This afternoon, the home team unveiled a number of new recruits. Pedro Neto was given the chance to make an impression right away before Joao Felix took his place.
Enzo Maresca, though, thinks Chelsea will be at the top of the world and the Blues would win games if Nicolas Jackson can constantly take his chances.
“He’s giving his best (Nicolas Jackson) and trying to prove doubters wrong but we want him to always take his chances and score goals for us” – stated Enzo Maresca.
“Winning games keeps the manager hopes at the club and we will work very well to take our chances and win games” He said
