Chelsea defender Emerson Palmieri has refused a possibility that he may leave Stamford Bridge in the summer.
He insists that winning the Europa League has made his him want a Blues career even more now.
Emerson said: “I have a contract with Chelsea where I am happy, especially after winning the Europa League. Apart from that, I have not received anything.”
When directly asked about Juventus links, Palmieri answered: “They all say that, but I am a very calm guy. I work and try not to think about these things.”
According to Italian media outlet Tuttosport, Maurizio Sarri, who may leave Chelsea for Juventus, wants to take two Blues with him – Gonzalo Higuain and Emerson Palmieri.
The defender was already linked with the Old Lady in 2017, before his move to the Blues. He was supposed to replace Alex Sandro.
Meanwhile, as Marcos Alonso has reportedly agreed to a transfer to Atletico Madrid, Chelsea run chances of leaving without an established left-back if they do sell Emerson.
