Enzo Maresca reveals what Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali told him after ‘civil war’ at Chelsea
The suspected leadership crisis at Chelsea has been referred to by the media as a civil war.
Behdad Eghbali and Todd Boehly, the co-owners, are rumored to be at war, and Blues manager Enzo Maresca was questioned about the ongoing conflict.
“I said many times, we started two months ago, so we need to know each other,” said Enzo Maresca as soon as reporters asked him about the brewing feud between co-owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali.
“If I spend my energy on something different, it’s not worth it.
“My focus is just on tomorrow’s game, to be honest.
“In the last week, I have focused on the game, preparing in the best way.”
When asked if he’s been told about what’s happening between the owners, the Chelsea boss answered: “No. I spoke with Todd when we played City.
“I spoke with Behdad days ago. I am speaking with both, there is no problem at all.”
