Pedro Neto is one of those banging on the door, having scored twice in his last two starts and being able to play on both wings.
However, Mykhailo Mudryk’s situation is different, as he is only appearing in the Premier League on rare occasions.
Didier Drogba says Mykhailo Mudryk needs to be loaned out
Maresca has frequently shown frustration with the winger on the pitch, and his performances have not warranted a start in any meaningful games as of yet.
Didier Drogba has claimed that he thinks it would be best off if Mudryk was loaned out to adjust to life at the top level.
He said to TalkSPORT: “I think he has got to go out on loan. I don’t see a place for him at the moment. He’s now behind Sancho, he’s behind Neto, he’s behind Noni Madueke. He’s way down that pecking order for me. I don’t see a player in there because you know you have got football IQ.
“Rapid, but at times I feel as though the pace, his feet are too quick for his brain, he can’t quite adjust quick enough. He has got so much under the bonnet, but boy, does he disappoint.”
