“I can’t believe this” – Eden Hazard shocked by what Tottenham’s Son Heung-min has said about him

Eden Hazard had several amazing moments in Chelsea colours against Tottenham.

Even though the now-retired forward won numerous titles during his time at Chelsea, he is perhaps most recognized for his role in ‘The Battle at the Bridge’.

Tottenham, led by Mauricio Pochettino, were fighting for the Premier League title at the time, but missed points against their London rivals gave the crown to surprise victors Leicester City.

Hazard came off the bench to spark the comeback and score the heartbreaking equaliser for his opponents, with Son Heung-min on the opposite end. Tottenham’s battles with Chelsea always appeared more ferocious.

Whilst the expert ball-carrier struggled at Real Madrid with injuries and fitness issues before retiring, there were many iconic moments he produced in the Premier League and it really boosted his status.

With two Premier League titles, two Europa Leagues, a League Cup and an FA Cup to his name, there is a reason why Hazard is a Chelsea legend.

But it seems as though Spurs captain Son values and regards him much higher, which came as a shock to the Champions League winner with Real Madrid.

Hazard was told that Son thinks he is ‘the best footballer’ when talking ahead of a legends game and that left him surprised.

The 33-year-old added ‘that’s really good’ and ‘nice to hear about’, as he told Shoot for Love.

Hazard responded: “Nah, really?!” The presenter then added: “He did really. You didn’t know about this?”

A surprised Hazard then stated: “There are so many better players than me. I am one of them – that’s really good. Nice to hear about it. Wow.”
