“He should be in Enzo Maresca first team” – Chelsea staff believe 21-year-old talented player should be in Maresca’s first team squad
Chelsea currently has a sizable team with young players in every position. The Blues signed some of the top players in the world to lead the team during the last three transfer windows, spending money like crazy.
To do this, the Blues may send some young players on loan rather than giving them an opportunity to show off their skills. For the time being, Chelsea has been using this tactic. Instead of giving a young player time in the Chelsea main squad after signing them, the Blues sent them on loan.
Following confirmation by their new manager Enzo Maresca that they will not receive enough playing time under the new system, Chelsea has decided not to release some of the high-profile players during the summer transfer window. In the summer, players including Kepa, Romelu Lukaku, and Sterling left the team on loan or permanently. The Blues are signing players like nothing, on the one hand. Chelsea, on the other hand, is ignoring the team’s youthful talent.
Chelsea should consider Harvey Vale for the first-team squad
Harvey Vale, a 21-year-old Englishman, is among the players. Harvey Vale ought to be given a chance in Enzo Maresca’s starting lineup, according to some Chelsea employees. But the 21-year-old still doesn’t have lunch. Vale made 47 appearances for the League One team while on loan at Bristol Rovers during the previous season.
Are the Blues neglecting too many young talents available in the club?
Since BlueCo acquired the team in 2022, Chelsea has undoubtedly acquired some of the top young players. For instance, Noni Madueke, Enzo Maresca, Moises Caicedo, Cole Palmer, and others. Nevertheless, despite having the ability to perform, certain academy players, like Harvey Vale, may not get the opportunity to do so under these well-known names.
Take the example of Josh Acheampong, who made his Chelsea debut at the end of the last season after coming on as a substitute against Newcastle United in the Premier League. The 18-year-old right back is one of the most exciting players.
However, Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca still not giving his much playing time. Josh Acheampong did make an appearance this season after coming on as a sub against Barrow in the Carabao Cup. But for the proper growth of Josh Acheampong, Chelsea needs to give more time to the 18-year-old.
