“Enemies of progress player” “It’s time to go”- Chelsea fans all wants Maresca to sell Chelsea star in January after costing Chelsea 2-0 defeat to Newcastle
Newcastle United easily won the Carabao Cup at St. James’ Park, and Chelsea supporters are not pleased with one of their players’ performances.
Days after losing at Stamford Bridge, Newcastle United exacted revenge by eliminating us from the Carabao Cup.
Newcastle was able to take advantage of Enzo Maresca’s team’s apparent disarray on Tyneside, as passes were misdirected and holes were appearing everywhere.
On Sunday, the Blues will focus on Manchester United. However, given the notice period issue, it is unclear if Ruben Amorim will be hired by the Red Devils.
One player who probably won’t find himself in the starting lineup is Axel Disasi, who scored an own goal, and looked completely out of sorts.
Axel Disasi’s performance in numbers against Newcastle
Axel Disasi had a night to forget, scoring Newcastle’s second goal for them and struggling to deal with the onrushing attackers on numerous occasions.
Looking at his stats for the night, you’d think he wasn’t a defender.
He failed to make a single interception, tackle, clearance or block, and he lost three of his five duels. As well as this, he lost possession 11 times and committed two fouls (as per SofaScore).
Chelsea fans react to Axel Disasi’s display against Newcastle
These Chelsea fans, when speaking on X, all called for Axel Disasi to be sold.
“Disasi should be sold in January.”, @Promise99732295 said.
@CJHCFC1994 wasn’t happy: “Badiashile and Disasi need to be sold asap! Neither are good enough for our squad at all.”
@mutaisco stated: “Disasi it’s time to go.”
@CLEARLAKEPOLICE mentioned: “Disasi pack your bags man…I’ve had it!”
“Disasi just needs to be sold ASAP. I don’t see what does Maresca sees in him. If Gallagher and Chilwell can be frozen out of squad why can’t Disasi be? Surely we have more than enough CB’s. What a joke.”, @C55548288 said he needs to be frozen out of the squad.
@iamdavidmaxwell commented: “Disasi needs to be sold. As simple as that.”
