“Work hard to get back into the team or sit on the bench” – Frank Lampard hits at Chelsea star after 1-1 draw against Man United
The Sky Sports punditry squad for Chelsea’s Premier League matchup against Manchester United included Chelsea icon Frank Lampard. Lampard gave his assessment of the match following the 1-1 tie.
“How Chelsea have been playing, they are confident in what they are trying to do,” the former player and coach said.
“Chelsea kept missing the passes, I think they will be disappointed, but on the flip side they are getting better.
“You want to see a bit more from what they showed at the top end of the pitch.
“Romeo Lavia can receive and find passes through lines. For Enzo Fernandez, he will have to work hard to get back into the team.”
Lavia has formed a strong, solid partnership with Moises Caicedo, while Fernandez did not impress after coming on as a sub on Sunday afternoon.
