“Replace these 3 Chelsea problems & Win the league” – Eden Hazard shares 3 areas where Chelsea need to fix in January
After 11 games, Chelsea is in third place in the Premier League standings as the Blues maintain their excellent play under Enzo Maresca.
Eden Hazard, a legend of Chelsea, has said that although if Chelsea is currently attractive and capable of finishing in the top four, they can still compete for the Premier League title if Enzo Maresca can fix these three problems.
Eden Hazard believes that the defense line, goaltender, and striker positions need to be filled by adding players who can compete with the other players in that area.
“Enzo Maresca needs to understand that Chelsea is always about winning trophies and that he must do all in his power to maintain this strong form at Chelsea. In the last two games, Sanchez made several careless blunders that lost the team all three points, including the defense.
“Chelsea needs to look at the attacking position as well. I don’t mean Nicolas Jackson isn’t doing his hardest; he’s been excellent so far this season and can become much better. Axel Disasi and Badiashile can’t handle the pressure at Chelsea; they need to be challenged to step up or, better still, replace them. However, we require a striker who can give it his all in order to score goals.
“We need a striker who can turn every assist into a goal; players like Didier Drogba and Diego Costa are examples of complete strikers. If we can address all these issues, we can compete more in the Premier League this season.”
“I really want us to fight for the league this season with this form and anything can happen we can win the league again before Arsenal” remarked Eden Hazard.
Chelsea will kickoff against Leicester city on Saturday 12:30pm as the Blues will be looking forward to be back to winning ways.
